Farmfool was born of confusion and irritation. In this digital world, I can sit on my farm/ranch/plot/land and be physically (and blissfully) isolated, while being super connected to the whole world. No longer do I have to call or drive over to my neighbour’s property to ask their opinion about something – even if I did benefit socially! Nor do I have to plug away on my own at something new figuring it out – feeling like a fool until finally I’m not. Because for a while now, I’ve been able to go on the web and hunt around on a myriad of sites till I find what I’m looking for. But that can get annoying. I used to have dozens of those bookmarks for different topics that were useful to me on different sites. Enter Farmfool. Now I can ask questions of helpful experts and even share my own knowledge – all in one place. Farmfool’s like having thousands of neighbours from all parts of the globe leaning over my fence offering their advice. OK, well perhaps that’s not the most inviting analogy – but hopefully you get my drift.
